SMALL HIVE BEETLE Problem Solutions, Honeybee Beehive Corrections to prevent Small Hive Beetle Larva Destruction

NEWSFLASH To the naive Beekeepers

IF YOU WAIT UNTIL LARVA STAGE To Late

I continue to get horror stories of Beekeepers seeing a few Small Hive Beetles
but not being concerned immediately.

TRAPS AND BAIT ONLY KILL ADULTS

Adults are the stage you must control BEFORE they lay THOUSANDS of eggs.

The Larva stage are the ones that tunnel through the combs in search of pollen.

The Adult stage is just annoying to the Honeybees no real damage done.

2,3,or even 4 traps per Beehive is sometimes NOT enough.

YOU MUST CONTROL ADULTS BEFORE IT GETS OUT OF HAND

ALL Southern States Year Round Control Needed.

FULL SUN Best

NO Splits Mid August till Mid September, 2 worst months
